BLG-02-EA

The BLG-02-EA (Electrical Actuator) is a M30/K4 crash tested bollard. This flagship bollard offers ELGO Team's formidable strength and superb reliability, which alongside the sustainable electrical design make it the ideal solution for Urban Vehicular Access Control (pedestrian security) and high-security applications . The BLG-02-EA measures 700mm (27.5”) in height and 219mm (8.6”) in diameter (also available in a 1,000mm / 39" option). The bollard boasts an IP68 rating which means that it is fully operational even when submerged in water.

This electrically driven bollard boasts a stainless steel coating to prevent corrosion, and also comes with optional LED lights for maximum visibility. This product has been rigorously tested based on ASTM M30/K4 standards, meaning that it stops a vehicle weighing 6.8 tons driving at 48kph (30mph). Atop its outstanding features, the BLG-02-EA also boasts an elegant design and look which makes it resonate with the aesthetics of different environments.

The Electrical Actuator features a simple design which enables easy installation by eliminating any hydrulic lines, and offers maximum reliability and substantially, less maintenance than hydraulic systems, and dramatically reducing operational costs. ELGO Team's patented Electrical Actuator offers a variety of benefits. It is environmentally friendly, as it is oil free, with a high-energy efficiency of 87%. It can be safely used even in challenging weather conditions – extreme temperatures, sand, dust, rain, ice and flooding. It is IP 68 certified, and operates even while submerged under water. The Electrical Actuator allows precise control of acceleration and deceleration, enabling the bollards to move quietly and smoothly. The system features high performance - a 100% duty cycle of 4 operations per minute, allowing for a swift bollard rise in 2.5 seconds, or in 1 second in emergency. In addition to the automatic operation, the BLG-02-EA also supports manual operation for the bollards’ up/down functionality during power outages.
