BLG-02-EH (Electro-Hydraulic) M30/K4 crash test certified bollard is one of ELGO TEam's flagship products that offers the formidable strength and superb reliability, which alongside its small footprint make it the ideal solution for Urban Vehicular Access Control (pedestrian security) and high-security applications . This innovative and easy to use product measures 700mm (27.5”) in height and 219mm (8.6”) in diameter (also available in a 1,000mm / 39" option). The bollard boasts an IP68 rating which means that it is fully operational even when submerged in water. In addition, the Hydrulic Power Unit (HPU) is self-contained in a sealed oil compartment which does not require oil refill or top up.
This electrically driven hydraulic bollard boasts a stainless steel coating to prevent corrosion, and also comes with optional LED lights for maximum visibility. An excavation depth of 1,400mm (55”) is required when installing the BLG-02-EH bollard. This product has been rigorously tested, based on ASTM M30/K4 standards, meaning that it can stop a vehicle weighing 6.8 tons driving at 48kph (30mph).
