Optimus Road Blocker: ASTM M50 P1 Certified (A260)

Crash certified road blocker (wedge barrier), the A-260 OPTIMUS, is the result of years of vehicle barrier engineering experience by EL-GO Team in some of the most demanding environments. OPTIMUS barrier successfully passed a full-scale crash test according to ASTM F2656-07 M50 (6.8-ton truck at 50mph/80kph). Barrier scored P1 (zero penetration) and continued to work following the massive impact. Fully visible Led lights and safety skirt are optional, that help softens the heavy-duty general look making it suitable for a wide range of sites starting from military bases to trendy perimeters.

As with all of EL-GO Teams products, OPTIMUS is equipped with a unique electrically driven actuator IP68 rated that continues to work even when fully submerged under water. With only power supply connected to the drive unit no need for running oil/air hoses. The Optimus A260 is a shallow mount type barrier with only 260mm depth excavation for surface mount installation or 350mm excavation depth for shallow mount installation. Barrier is available in the following lengths: 2.5m (8.2ft) / 3m (9.8ft) / 3.5m (11.5ft) / 4m (13.1ft).
