Are bollards effective?

K-rating – Bollards are rated based on their ability to block vehicles at different speeds – K12, K8, and K4 standards indicate vehicles speeds of 50 mph, 40 mph, and 30 mph, respectively. This standard is considered a general reference point in the industry.

ASTM standards  – The American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) has developed its own standards, based on DoS and DoD criteria, which issues ratings based on different vehicle types and penetration.
